06/21/1999 - Firewall lecture CANCELLED!
  • Due to some family-related issues Frimp will unfortunately not be able to hold his lecture on firewalls for now.

06/18/1999 - Linux Installation Party
  • Linux - the alternative OS? Everyone longing to try it for themselves but not daring enough to install it on their own will receive help at this event: On 07/10+11/1999 we will be installing, compiling kernels, and much more. Additional information about Linux can be obtained the following thursday. See the Workshops section.

06/10/1999 - General Meeting
  • Chaos Computer Club e.V is going to be having it's next general meeting. Every member , who wants to build the future of the club should attend. Every vote counts!

06/01/1999 - Chaos-CD
  • Next tuesday is going to be "CD Tuesday". Anyone interested in helping with the creation of the Chaos-CD is invited to join us starting at about 7:30pm at LOK72. Volunteers wanted!

05/06/1999 - ATTENTION! Workshops
  • The "TCP/IP" workshop on 05/13/1999 will have to be rescheduled since the lector (Pirx) is going to be absent. Besides that day is a holiday.

04/25/1999 - Parking space
  • The closed parking space (see post from 03/30/1999) is available again. Anyone still experiencing problems may try this. :)

04/01/1999 - english website
  • The english version of our website is now up and running.

03/30/1999 - recent decisions as of 05/01/1999:
  • Introduction of workshops, lectures, etc. on thursdays - or on weekends if all else fails.

  • declaration of every first tuesday of the month to be "internal chaos". Everyone who attends anyway will be welcome to join but won't have good chances of getting to know us because this day will be used for votes and debates. All other meets will be quite informal - just as usual. "Newbies" are encouraged to avoid the internal tuesday.

    • NOTE:

  • Warning to anyone coming by car! As of 03/30/1999 some of the rare parking spaces on "Lokstedter Weg" and some adjacent streets can't be used due to construction work!

03/27/1999 - an interesting day for CCC Hamburg:
  1. Our opening ceremony for the new location on "Lokstedter Weg" will be held. Everyone from Hamburg or any other Chaos area is welcome. Food and drink will be provided for...
  2. Our webpage has been updated and will go online with the beginning of the opening party at 15.42 (3.42pm).
